Checklist

  • Passport
  • European Health Insurance Card or equivalent
  • Medication if required
  • Phone AND Phone Charger
  • Spending Money STERLING if bringing CASH. Please don’t carry a lot of cash.
  • Instrument
  • Labelled instrument Case
  • Instrument Insurance if you own your own instrument (i.e. it’s not a LSOM instrument)
  • Music Folder with all Music
  • Concert Clothes: Appropriate All Black as per LSOM policy, including black shoes and socks and sufficient for two concerts (two outfits as you feel appropriate).
  • Warm clothes and waterproof jacket for sightseeing/excursions.
  • Comfortable walking shoes.
  • Appropriate nightwear as rooming is on a shared basis.
  • Sufficient clothing/toiletries etc. for a 5-day trip
  • One main travel case/bag and one smaller bag/backpack for daytrips.

Guidelines

  • All students must travel to and back on Tour Bus / Ferry as per itinerary.
  • All safety instructions on boat, bus and at hotel must be followed.
  • Students will be assigned in smaller groups to a teacher, please check in with these teachers as required.
  • Students must obey members of staff at all times and be courteous friendly and cooperative. 
  • Students must stay with the tour group. A student may not go off by themselves or wander off anywhere alone. Doing so consciously is a serious offence. 
  • Students must stay in groups at all times and are expected to be punctual.
  • Please do not bring any gaming consoles etc. You will need to sleep properly as we have a busy schedule.
  • No smoking/vaping, illegal drugs or alcohol allowed
  • There will be a number of musicians aged 18+ on this tour. We ask those musicians aged 18+ to honour the rules set regarding alcohol in order to protect the under 18 musicians. We have no doubt that you are completely responsible and mature enough to make your own decisions, but we can't allow it while you are with us and hope you understand the reasons
